Cecchi is an Italian wine producer with a history embedded in the renowned wine region of Chianti. The estate can trace its winemaking history back to 1893 when founder Luigi Cecchi began a professional career in wine tasting. The company remains family-owned to date, with the management of company today falling to Andrea and Cesare Cecchi. Focus falls predominantly on the Tuscan red wines of Chianti, Chianti Classico, Toscana IGT, Maremma Toscana and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, as well as Rosso di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino. In addition, the Cecchi family produces a select few Tuscan white wines from traditional grape varieties including Grechetto Bianco, Drupeggio, Procanico and Vernaccia di San Gimignano. Cecchi also makes wines in Montefalco in Umbria.
