Mascota Vineyards is a wine producer in the Mendoza region of Argentina. It produces red wines from Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and several other varieties, plus white wine from Chardonnay. The operation is a special project of Grupo Peñaflor and its winemaker Rodolfo Sadler.
The principal property is Finca La Mascota in Cruz de Piedra in the Maipû region. This is home to 97 hectares (240 acres) of vines planted on mainly alluvial clay-loam soil. Further vineyards are located in other subregions across Mendoza.
Unánime has an intense cherry-red colour, elegant aromas of black chocolate and tobacco, along with a touch of black pepper notes. Well structured, round tannins that blend nicely with its fresh and juicy acidity.
