Glenmorangie has the tallest stills (16feet and 10inches, 5 meter) in Scotland. With necks as tall as a giraffe, this gives more space for taste and aroma. So are the Glenmorangie 18 years, it a s dazzling, luminous whisky with balancing sweet and floural lushness, with rich marmalade flavours, honey and fig.
It is matured in American oak casks for no less than 15 years. After that a portion is transfer into Oloroso sherry casks for a further 3 years. Once 18 years has passed, it is reunited to create its warm balance sweet. floral lushness. Rich marmalade flavours brush against honey and fig, touches of caramelized orange and far-off campfire smoke.
