Domaine de l’Ecu is located 25km away from Nantes. Nicknamed the “Pope of Muscadet”, Guy Bossard is one of the pioneering forces of Organic and Biodynamic viticulture in the Loire Valley. This estate has been in Guy’s family for five generations, and when he took the reins in the early 70s, he applied for Organic certification right away, converting to Biodynamics in the 90s. He has since been succeeded by Fred Niger, who shares Brossard’s passion for Biodynamics.
On the nose, this cuvée gives off aromas of citrus and white flowers, and the palate is lively, typical of Muscadet. This wine will pair perfectly with seafood or fresh goats’ chees
