Comte Joseph Hors D’Age is a classic Grande Champagne cognac. The spirit is matured for at least 6 years, but it contains amounts of more than 20 year old cognac, matured in limousin oak casks. The color is dark and the smell gives a clear imprint of antiquity with notes as dates, figs, wood and vanilla. The taste has a good length and the characteristic taste of Grande Champagne with complexity enjoyer gives a good idea of a good age of cognac. The finish is spicy and has a nice length.
