Wine is 100% Tempranillo from Labastida with denomination of origin C.R.D.O.Ca. Rioja, this harvest has been pretty good, the earliest in the history of la Rioja. Is made with grape fresh and elegant, remarkable aptitude for breeding, coupled with a good climate which favours the correct balance of high quality wine.
The soils of the vineyards are calcareous and fresh peculiar and excellent presierra for an austere vineyard in a climate almost serrano, Labastida, Shearwaters of aqueduct, black Altabaza, Cuba, Larrazuri. Old vineyards 35 to 80 years, with limited productions.
In Winery is a double selection (cluster and grain) of traditional elaboration process. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in small tanks, 10 to 14 days in stainless steel tank, behind it the malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. (80%) and American (20%) of the best Coopers in the market, for 18 months, for bottling.
