Here is one of the 3 largest properties of the CHÂTEAUneuf-du-Pape appellation with its 92 hectares of vines. Very old vineyard, the first archives of CHÂTEAU la Nerthe date back to the 16th century when the estate was named the Ferme du Beauvenir. His name today echoes one of the members of the family who bought it in the 16th century and who was none other than a prior living on the Nerthe Massif.
This 2019 Châteauneuf-du-Pape blanc, made by one of the oldest and most prestigious producers since 1560, has been very well received by critics. The palate is richly textured with notes of lime, pineapple, and mango. The bright acidity provides superb balance and gives this organic wine a remarkable finish. A very elegant wine that pairs superbly with seafood and rich butter dishes.
