Beni di Batasiolo is an Italian winery in the northwest region of Piedmont, best known for its range of Barolo wines and was formed by the Dogliani brothers in 1978. The estate has 106 hectares (261 acres) of vineyards of which 60ha (148 ac) are planted to Nebbiolo, the dominant grape of the region. Batasiolo’s Barolo vineyards are located in highly regarded areas, including La Morra, Serralunga d’Alba and Monforte d’Alba.
Deep garnet red in color, this wine offers aromas of dried fruit, flowers, spices, sweets and the typical delicate herbaceous aromas. On the palate, it shows the perfect balance between tannins, freshness and alcoholic content. It is powerful and persistent, but absolutely elegant and pleasing.Pair with red meat, game, roasts, cured meat and cheese.
