Merlot 90% and Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Deep ruby red color with purple hues, indicating its youthfulness. On the nose, La Dame offers a seductive bouquet of ripe red berries, such as cherries and raspberries, together with subtle hints of cedar wood and herbs. On the palate the wine reveals a medium to full body with silky tannins. Flavorful layers of blackcurrants, plums and a hint of vanilla blend harmoniously and provide a complex taste experience. The wine has a balanced acidity that provides freshness and vibrancy, while the aftertaste is long and persistent.
This wine is a so-called “second wine” from the prestigious Château L’Hospital, which means that it is produced from grapes that come from younger vines. All in all, La Dame de L’Hospital Graves is a wonderful representative of the Graves region, with its elegant character, complex flavors and excellent structure. It is a wine that will delight Bordeaux wine lovers and is a valuable addition to any wine cellar.
