Merlot 80%, Cabernet Franc 15% and Cabernet Sauvignon 5%
Château Gracia (often known simply as “Gracia”) is a small wine estate and holding it was one of the first called as “garagiste” wineries in the Saint-Emilion region.
The Gracia vineyard covers just over two hectares in Saint-Emilion and they production is small (around 300 cases annually). The wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks and oak vats and aged in 100-percent new French oak barriques.
One of the few blockbuster wines in this vintage, Gracia’s 2011 exhibits an opaque blue and purple color along with gorgeous aromas of graphite, chalk, black currants, blueberries, camphor and a hint of truffles.
