Nebbiolo 100%
Marchesi di Barolo is an Italian wine estate in Piedmont, particularly known for its single-vineyard and riserva wines from the Nebbiolo grape. The business was established in the early 1800s and this historic estate often releases older vintages demonstrating the age worthiness of the wines. The estate controls around 120 hectares (297 acres) of vineyards and makes a wide portfolio of wines from all of the principal varieties of the region. Unsurprisingly, Barolo forms the heart of the range. The flagship single-vineyard wine is the Barolo Cannubi, from a large holding in the famous vineyard.
Garnet-red in color with ruby reflections. Intense perfume with clean scent of roses, vanilla, licorice, spices and toasted oak. Gentle notes of absinthe. The flavor is full and elegant, good- bodied and austere with recurring olfactory sensations. The spicy note and the hints of wood blend perfectly.
