This Côtes-du-Rhône comes from a family estate of over 300 years old, the Arnoux family , nestled in the famous village of Vacqueyras where time seems to have stood still. The cellar is located at the bottom of the village, while the winemaking takes place on the hill in the middle of the village, just opposite the old bell tower.
The ‘Sélections plotaires’ are a tribute to the beginnings of the Arnoux family’s winemaking history in 1717. They highlight the quintessence of its terroir and its know-how acquired over time. These selections come from old vines which stand out for their finesse and elegance.
The beautiful ruby color develops a pretty bouquet of red fruits with pronounced notes of forest fruits (wild blackberries). We find wild berries on the palate, in a generous and balanced setting where a beautiful round and slightly spicy finish blossoms.
