Pinot Noir 100%
Every bottle of wine by McWilliam’s reflects six generations of hard work and winemaking experience. With more than 140 years in the field, the result is award-winning wines, which are renowned for quality. The history of the brand goes back to 1877, when founder Samuel McWilliam planted his very first grapevines on the outskirts of the town of Corowa, in New South Wales. McWilliam’s believes that people and not companies make good wine.
McW 660 Reserve Pinot Noir showcases a pale red colour with bright hues along the edges. Mesmerising scents of black plum, spice and delicate florals flow from the lifted bouquet, making way for a light to medium bodied palate containing flavours of mushroom, juicy red cherries and earthy spices. These aromas and flavours fuse together to offer an extended and velvety finish. This enticing Pinot Noir from McWilliam’s Wines can be enjoyed best after storing in the cellar for two years. Pair it with mushroom risotto or roasted duck with cherries to discover its real flavours.
A highly spiced pinot noir, its varietal character never in doubt. Damson plum, dark cherry and forest floor flavours wash over each other, fine tannins a feature.
