Jura ‘ Seven Wood’ Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

The ability of the small island community of Jura to reimagine and reinvent has allowed Jura distillery to thrive. This vision has given life to this complex single malt whisky , a fitting tribute to the skill of their Master Blender. Thanks to France’s forestry commission, sawmill and cooperage, Jura use the best virgin French oak barrels to improve their whisky .

Layers of complexity and flavor emerge from a maturation journey that begins in ex-bourbon American white oak casks before a portion of the whiskey is split between six different virgin oak casks sourced from various regions of France.

The result is a fruity, spiced whiskey with flavors of caramel, baked peach and sweet liquorice.

Jura Seven Wood has been shaped from seven different oak woods: American white oak, Limousin, Tronçais, Allier, Vosges, Jupilles and Les Bertranges first fill ex-bourbon barrels.
