Merlot 60%
Cabernet Sauvignon 40%
Named after the Pontac family which in the 18th century owned large swathes of Bordeaux and its vineyards, this estate is based around a former hunting lodge. The wine is ripe and full, finely structured and with tight still-young acidity. Aromas of fresh black fruit and roasted notes. In the mouth, the wine has a nice concentration, a woody and roundness.
