Extremely dark red wine with a solid taste full of tanines, with hints of leather, plum and earthy tastes. Lots of dark fruit hiding inside. A solid wine which should match a heavy meal. Interesting but not en easy wine. On the palate, La Fleur Pontus Fronsac from Château du Fort Pontus in the Bordeaux region is a powerful wine with a nice balance between acidity and tannins.
