The Croix Ducru-Beaucaillou is a Saint-Julien wine. This is the second wine from the estate. It is a 75-hectare estate that offers a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.
At tasting, there is a dark purple colour. On the nose, the wine expresses a lovely bouquet with blueberry, blackberry and blackcurrant fragrances. On the palate, the Croix Ducru-Beaucaillou 2012 is structured and balanced. The tannins envelop the wine with great roundness and power. This Saint-Julien is very seductive vintage.
