Different grape varieties were selected and planted during several periods of the winery development. The soil is very peculiar there mixed with sand due to the waters of the Garonne. It gives the base for the clay-limestone foundation below. Therefore, grape selection is precise and each type of wine produced has a pure flavor and taste. Every bunch of grapes is picked by hand, processed, and stored in new barrels which are usually contained 1/3 of new oak, where wines are aged. The process of ageing usually takes 12 months. Every sort shows its individuality. Some wines are slightly austere, some of them show a distinct herbaceousness, some of them are just sweet with a pleasant aftertaste. Their production is over 130,000 bottles in the Pessac Léognan appellation and 60,000 in the Bordeaux Appellation.
Black and intense in color, with a complex nose with notes of cassis, blackberry, chocolate, coffee and spices, it combines power and finesse, length in the mouth and silky tannins as well as intense aromas of black fruits. .
