The nose is spicy and offers power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of gray pepper associated with small touches of small fruits, violet as well as discreet hints of spices, coffee and cardamom. The palate is fruity and offers an acidulous/juicy frame, a racy minerality as well as a juicy/fresh/acidulous fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy raspberry and small hints of violet, iris, nutmeg/spicy as well as very discreet hints of chocolate/toasted.
