Chateau Belles Eaux ‘Carmin’ Syrah, Languedoc Pezenas 2018

This Languedoc winery is owned by Pichon-Longueville in Bordeaux. The vineyards of Mas Belles Eaux stretch over 90 hectares of hillsides in the Languedoc, where they benefit from a varied, complex terroir of Villafranchian gravel over red clay and alluvial soils. The estate was called Belles Eaux because of the numerous springs around the property which run down into the Peyne River, which has a unique effect on the terroir and provide their freshness to the wines

After an in-depth study and detailed examination of the soil, they reorganised the entire Château Belles Eaux vineyard around traditional Languedoc grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan.

Deep red in colour with ruby highlights. On the nose, intense aromas of black berries and spice. Fruity on the palate revealing vanilla and soft spice notes. Smooth and sweet with good length.
