This award winning sake (grand gold medal of iwc 2012) is carefully brewed from the highest quality of Yamadanishiki rice harvest in special region “A” of Hyogo prefecture. It has been aged for 2 years in the unpasteurized state (Namazake) under 0°c and then pasteurized just before shipping. Although the brewer has classified it as a tokubetsu junmai, it is in fact as good as a junmai daiginjo as far as the polishing ratio is concerned (50% polished). The taste is clean with a subtle nose. well balanced taste & fragrance that comes with a hint of grapefruit at the finish. A well received premium sake by everyone. Highly recommended!
